As with everything else these days, my pictures came back with a decidedly "Jack" spin on them, so these photos seem to fit right in on this page. Go figure! But lots to see here - 225 pictures including the Wedding, Jack with relatives, the Bridesmaids and Groomesmen getting photos, Jack with friends, candids from the reception, Jack sitting around, photos around the Meyer house, Jack with Emily, The Golden Gate Bridge (?), Jack crying, Frisbee with Tom and Lars, Jack playing on the floor, and flowers - though oddly NOT from the wedding. • Christmas Morning After Jack's birthday, eight nights of Hanukkah and a year of constant attention, Jack had finally just run out of presents to open. Christmas came just in time!
• Christmas 2007 Some shots at the Jordan house on Christmas morning. Because I can't stress this enough: Jack doesn't have enough presents to open. ALSO: He chases the dog around. He like dogs - did anyone know that?
• Sunday in San Francisco A quick trip out before the end of 2007 - and Happy Birthday Rebekkah.
• New Year's Day 2008 Let's start the new year right with a bunch of pictures that look exactly like all the other ones! In case you're wondering, these are all of Jack.
• Early January 2008 Some pics from the first week of January (including the big storm). BUT many of these are blurred or out-of-focus. We'll call this "experimenting with the camera". That sounds better than most of the explainations.
• Testing the New Lens in the Park I got a new lens for the camera and wasn't sure what to test it out on... then I remembered I like to take hundreds of pictures of Jack! So, another trip to the park. Yes, another one. BONUS: Jack hates the swing now. Check out a traumatic Page 4.
• Testing the New Lens at the Zoo Wait a minute... new lens... Jack... don't have to go to work tomorrow... sounds like a trip to the Zoo is in order to further test the lens! And if 283 pictures isn't enough, then even I will think this is annoying.
• Deborah Visits Check out a special guest star from halfway around the world.
• Jack and Dad Home Sick... Again More "hooky", yet it's not really that fun when you're actually sick. Check out blurry, blurry pictures of the two of us running around while taking a sick day (well, one of us was running around - guess who?). BONUS: Jack watches a lot of TV (because I don't feel like stopping him). Can you identify the movie? Hint: It's the very end and it was filmed sort of nearby. • Trip to Oregon - February 2008 Where better to spend President's Day Weekend than President Herbert Hoover's childhood home, the State of Oregon? Jack honors Hoover and more with a trip to the Pacific Northwest. OK, that's stretching a bit, but we had fun anyway. Check it out. [President's Day Note: Don't believe me about Hoover? • March 1 2008 A special birthday and a trip to the park! Not bad. Special birthday shout-out to Alice Curran and Emily Henderson and, according to the IMDB, Mark-Paul Gossleaar - TV's Zach Morris. But don't spend too much time on that reference.
• Armstrong Woods A nice trip out to Armstrong Woods. The trees are much taller than Jack. Jack runs all over the forest (and sees a slug!). Check it here.
• The Park Again Some bonus pics of THE PARK from last month that were on the camera.... have at it!
• The Backyard! You know, that park down the street has gotten an awful lot of play on this website.... I'm beginning to think the Windsor Shady Oak Regional Park has been kicking in some money on the side! Hey, who needs it when there's a perfectly good backyard right in the... well, backyard? • Easter Hot off the presses! Plus one day. See the epic details of Jack's first Easter Egg hunt. We hid little toddler fruit candies in plastic eggs and sent Jack around the backyard to find them. Cute or obnoxious? You decide! Personally, I thought it was "cute". But you'll have to see the pictures yourself to know for sure - click on in!
• Back to the Air Museum Now that Jack knows what airplanes are (or recognizes the strange things flying over our house several times a day) it seemed high time to take him back to the air museum! No tigers here, unless you count that bad-ass detailing on one of the jets they have on display! Jack of course loved it until he had enough and totally melted down. Sorry to ruin the surprise.
• Mid-March Creative naming aside, here's some of Jack playing at the park. Wait, did we already see this? No? This one's different.... really? Yes.
• Camping in the Backyard! So here's what we did this weekend. There's a tent from work that's maybe mine, maybe not... but boy does it seem like it would be fun to camp in. Right Jack? But here's the thing: Why go somewhere far and cold when you've got a big backyard, nice bed, Curious George and all the other amenities that make living in modern society so comfortable if not necessarily fun? It's pretty fun though. See us play in a tent AND watch Final Four action all in the same afternoon!
• Alice's Birthday On Alice's birthday, we went out on a limb and went to the park, then the backyard. No Alice here! Just Jack, celebrating the birthday by running around like a little crazy guy.
• Opening Birthday Presents Jack helps Alice open birthday presents. It's something he's become very good at.
• Another Trip to the Zoo On a very windy day, we figured it was high-time for another trip to the zoo. It was time to take a break from the backyeard and the park, which leads me to.....
• April in the Park The park! I've run out of things to say about the park. Look at the pictures and make up your own crazy story!
• The Pool Yep, we got a pool. Every kid needs one. The Summer of Fun begins early!

• A Day at the Windsor Town Green I wanted to know what it was like to go somewhere with Jack and not take 250 pictures. So here's 20 so-so images from a trip downtown (if you can indeed call it that). A lot of them are blurry... would be nice to have more....
• Jack at the Giants Game Jack's first baseball game! Going as part of a work trip, I intended to get a bunch of pictures of everyone.... guess what I got pictures of instead? That's right, Jack at the Giants Game!
• Playing in the Tent Jack plays in the tent... or around it, anyway.
• Father's Day Check out pics from Father's Day here. In case you are wondering, yes - Jack actually rode a horse. Not bad for a 19-month old. I'm going to teach him how to do my job next.
• A Day at the Beach It's 97 degrees in Windsor today - no thanks! Time to hit Bodega Bay for some beach antics.

• Mid-July 2008 Well, now that everyone's back home we can get back to what's most important: playing.

• Testing the Nikon I got some new cameras for work... gotta test them out somehow. Luckily I've got a favorite subject.
• Jack's First Haircut A few shots here. Then there was just a lot of crying.

• Grandparents Visit See an early September visit from the Oregon Grandparents. I think they're quite fond of Jack.

• Halloween 2008! A week late but worth the wait - Jack's first trick or treating. Dressed as Thomas the Train, Jack walks around the neighborhood vaguely confused about the whole thing but ends up with a bag of candy. The first of many I'm sure. Then the next day it rained and we went to the store. It will make sense when you look at them.
• Fall 2008 Extra Here are some pictures I found on the camera. I'm bound to fall behind sometimes.
• Mini Vacation Wow, these are old but never made it up. A long time ago I took a day off. See how that turned out here.

Well, there was this cool part where this hobo wouldn't get off the train tracks, and the train had to call the cops, and the cops came - but, you're probably not interested in that because you're really here to see pictures of Jack, right?
